45/100 — Last week we launched a free scanner that asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI whether they'd recommend your business. 846 scans in, the average business that's run it on themselves scores 45 out of 100. About seven in ten get named somewhere. One in eight is completely invisible, and the AIs hand their customers a competitor instead. (Our own brand-new site scored 1/100 in week one. The tool was right.)

Anthropic's newest Claude model went dark for 19 days under export controls and came back online Wednesday. If your team leant on one model this month, you felt it. The lesson for any Australian business building on AI: models are infrastructure now. Plan for more than one.
