Why does IndexNow matter for AI visibility?

ChatGPT search answers from Bing's index. IndexNow gets your new or updated pages into that index in minutes instead of days, so fixes you ship are visible to AI sooner.

Why do I need to host a key file?

The key file at yourdomain.com/yourkey.txt proves you control the domain, it's IndexNow's ownership check, and it means nobody else can submit URLs for your site.

Which search engines receive IndexNow submissions?

All IndexNow-participating engines share submissions: Microsoft Bing, Seznam.cz, Naver and Yandex. Google does not use IndexNow.

Bing's index is what ChatGPT search reads. IndexNow tells Bing (and Seznam, Naver, Yandex) about new or fixed pages instantly instead of waiting for a crawl. One-time setup, then submit any time.

Step 1, your key.
We generated one for you: c45ba137bb9e473180376a87a657e3bf
Keep it, the same key works forever for your site.

Step 2, host the key file (one time).
Create a plain-text file at https://YOURDOMAIN/c45ba137bb9e473180376a87a657e3bf.txt containing exactly the key. That file is how IndexNow verifies you own the site, it's why nobody can submit for your domain without your say-so.

Step 3, submit URLs.
