Half the measured market can't record an AI-sent visitor, and your console now speaks MCP.
Agents are the new visitors. ChatGPT's browser, Perplexity's reader and the shopping agents all fetch your site the same way, with a lightweight browser that reads what is in the HTML and nothing else. A site can look perfect to a human and be an empty page to every one of them. The free scan now runs that read on every measure and tells you which one you are.
We started checking measurement wiring on every scan last week: does this site carry anything that would record a visitor arriving from ChatGPT or Perplexity? Of the 57 businesses measured since the check shipped, 30 percent carry no measurement tags at all, and another 21 percent run only a Tag Manager container that can't be inspected from outside. Half the market could have a buyer walk in from an AI answer today and never know it happened.
MEASUREMENT WIRING · LATEST SCAN PER BUSINESS, N = 57
3,009 MEASURED | 57 WIRING-CHECKED SO FAR | 51% CAN'T VERIFY AN AI VISIT
Your console now speaks MCP. Add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and your own AI can read your live measurements mid-conversation: scores, every question's trajectory, mentions, the competitors AI names instead of you, your fix plan, and a post brief built from your measured data so your AI drafts content from receipts instead of guesses. There is also a new email preferences section in the console, so you choose what lands in your inbox, and each console's trend now runs on its own measurements alone.
Running client sites? One link now runs your whole list, white-labelled with your logo, with scoped access keys for your staff. Reply with the word agency and I will set you up to see it.
Replies land with me and I answer them. If your agent read comes back blank, that is worth a conversation this week, and it costs nothing to have it.
